    Catering!

Elaine at the Ballantyne Charlotte location catered our daughter's graduation party (Viva Chicken is her favorite) at Seaboard Taproom.  We could not have been more pleased with the food, cost and the service!  Elaine came, set up, served, kept the serving area clean, provided take home plates with leftovers and packed everything up at the end of our beautiful evening!

I highly recommend Elaine Chavez and Viva Chicken if you ever need a delicious and different catering option!

I've heard of this restaurant for years from Charlotte locals. Finally had the opportunity to enjoy it for lunch today with a friend. I ordered The Great sandwich: rotisserie chicken with lettuce tomato and onion on ciabatta bread with special mayonnaise. Absolutely delicious! The bread was the absolute best choice, in my opinion, and was recommended to me by the cashier (over the wrap). My friend who has been dining here for years has never tried the sandwich; she tasted mine and said she will be ordering it next time.

I chose the Peruvian beans as my side that comes with the sandwich. They were definitely good, though I am not a beans person (so I don't know why I picked it). If this is what you're craving, good choice; otherwise, I might suggest another one of their side options instead such as the plaintains, yuca, rice, or sweet potato fries.

My friend ordered the arroz chaufa which is fried rice with vegetable mix-ins. She also adds pulled rotisserie chicken. Yum! It is her favorite dish, and she gets it every time. I tasted it and loved it. Would order it, for sure.

Of note, I personally highly dislike cilantro (I know; I'm weird) which really limits my food choices at this place. I thought about ordering the chicken soup until I saw it was made with cilantro-infused rice. For those who love cilantro, I'm sure anything on the menu would be a great pick!

I saw another customer have an order of the quinoa stuffed avocados. Wow, they looked amazing. I've heard they are one of the best menu items. Definitely intend to try some time.

When the food was brought to our table, an employee asked whether he could do anything else for us. After noticing we did not have any utensils, he brought those over along with extra napkins. We were asked by another employee later during our dining experience whether she could help us in any way. The staff here were fantastic!

Lastly, the place is clean, open, and inviting. Even the restroom was extremely clean. 10/10 would recommend this Viva Chicken location to anyone in char

This location is great, and I find myself there every time I see a show at the visulite. It is quick, and although I order enough food for two, I never take leftovers to the show. The sauces are where it's at, so try them all. Personally, I think they each pair with different things on the menu. I go for the straight up chicken, but am never disappointed. The stuffed avocado is a great creation, and has given me much inspiration in the kitchen.

First visit! I've heard nothing but great things and decided to stop by and grab dinner one day. I got 1/4 chicken, green beans and yuca fries. Amazing!! Everything was so fresh. After I got home and ate it, I beat myself up for not getting a 1/2 chicken. Never had yuca before but wow, so good. The sauces were amazing too.

Excellent and great flavor. I really need to try something different as I get the cilantro rice and plantains every time. They are delicious. And they have a price break after 2:30 I believe. Always crowded but the staff are very nice and fast.
